Coverage, sources & methodology

This first release covers CPI, PPI, the Employment Situation, GDP, Personal Income and Outlays (including PCE inflation), and scheduled FOMC decision days. It does not yet include earnings, retail sales, ISM, Fed speeches, unscheduled news, consensus estimates, or released figures.

High priority: CPI, employment, PCE and FOMC decisions. Medium priority: GDP and PPI. These are fixed planning rules, not a validated prediction of price movement. The same saved schedules and rules produce the same calendar.

Scenarios are conditional explanations. Expectations, revisions, simultaneous releases and the economic backdrop can change the reaction. No directional signal or surprise score is assigned without verified expectations and actual data.

A date-only event has no verified release time. Future FOMC meetings are labeled tentative because the Fed notes that they are subject to confirmation. Previously listed events remain visible with a warning when a source fails or no longer lists them. Only currently confirmed events are included in calendar downloads. Downloads are a snapshot, not an automatically updating subscription.
