Initial Stop

Target
The first target is $2.11 above entry, approximately 2.4R. The second target is $2.99 above entry, approximately 3.4R.
The trade needed to clear $18.82 to pay the first target. It never got near it.
Result
We exited at $15.79 for a -5.51% loss, or -1.05R against the initial risk. CYRX turned down from the entry area and never came back. The stop was hit on August 31.

The stop was $15.83. The fill was $15.79. Four cents.
Those four cents turned a one-R loss into 1.05R. A stop is a price where you decide to leave. It is not a price you are promised. Size the position so the slippage does not matter.
The thesis required a trend. There was no trend. We took the loss and moved on.
